What is Pre-Production Proofing?
A pre-production proof (also known as a spec sample) is a physical sample of the item you are ordering customised to your specifications. These samples are made according to the Digital Proofs that you have approved previously.
Once we receive approval of the pre-production sample, we will commence with the final production!

Proof Approval Policy:
Once Handpicked Factories have received approval of the pre-production sample, your order will be manufactured in line with our standard delivery times unless pre-agreed in writing to the contrary. Any delay or changes requested once a pre-production proof has been manufactured may result in additional charges or an extension of the delivery lead-time. Handpicked Factories will make every effort, upon your receipt of your request in writing, to change or cancel your order. If the order has not yet started the production process, no additional charge or cancellation fees will be applied. In the case of changes, where orders have already begun the manufacturing process the setup fees may vary from the original quotation subject to your revised requirements. This particularly applies to screens and setup costs where plates or screens may already have been made and also to changes once pre-production samples have been manufactured. Any additional charges will be notified in writing prior to proceeding to full production of your order. If your order has begun the production process, regrettably, we are unable to stop or change the order. We can, however if you wish, prevent delivery or redirect it to an alternative location. In all such cases you will be charged the original amount quoted for any orders cancelled at this stage. Any changes in quantity ordered must be made in writing to us prior to commencement of the manufacturing process. Any increase in the order may be regarded as a separate contract, and as such as separate delivery date may apply, unless written notification is received before work commences on the original order.
